      • I am an interdisciplinary artist whose work occupies space between the virtual and physical. Experimenting with temporality, I utilize material-specific processes to express a yearning for deep-time. I create multimedia installations incorporating painting, light interventions, mediated performance, sculpture and video.

My practice demarcates the studio as site for transformation and transmission, where the environment of production functions as a backdrop for mediated-performances. Interacting with remote audiences, I use the web camera as a portal and the desktop as stage. Here the studio environment is compressed into flattened image-in-flux, as encounters are captured via screen recording. This work is a platform for investigating how relationships between self and others are evolving; an attempt at understanding how these relationships are reframed by digital technologies.

In the studio, aleatory systems facilitate emergent conditions to improvise within, producing metonymic relationships in language and material that point to touch. Through making, I engage entropic force to explore themes of decay and renewal, of chaos and order. In language, I employ mythic structures as poetic frameworks.
